St Andrew’s is the only landlocked parish in Guernsey, but what it lacks in sandy beaches it makes up for in agricultural charm. This is Guernsey’s heartland. In the 19th century, St Andrew’s was a cider-making centre, and more than 10% of the land was covered by orchards. Today the orchards have gone, but the hilly fields and valleys with green views remain.

“St Andrew’s is quite literally the heart of the Island. Being in the middle of Guernsey means St. Andrew’s is never far from anything you could want. Its green parish lanes are fantastic for quiet dog walks whilst its great pubs give it a wonderful small village feel.”
