Guernsey recently updated its employment permit policy (April 2023). Designed to largely mirror the immigration position in England & Wales, details can be found at www.gov.gg/epp

Effectively, the new policy makes Guernsey a more attractive place to relocate to for work, removing some of the conditions that previously made it more onerous. As a result, Rest of the World nationals will be able to access more job roles than ever before. And, those who come to the island ‘under licence’ can be provided with a longer licence than they previously were, and become ‘local’ sooner.
